Position Description:

The Operations Support Analyst II provides customer support for loan origination, loan accounting, and supporting systems. This includes responding to phone call and e-mail requests promptly, as well as following through to ensure all inquiries are resolved in a timely manner. Occasional travel to associations and related functions inside and outside of the district may be required.  Assists in the development, documentation and implementation of new system enhancements that are made available to association users that support loan accounting activity, GL accounting activity and data warehouse queries.  Provides guidance, training and assistance to less experienced operations support staff.
 
Day to Day Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides customer support to Associations and Bank users of loan origination, loan accounting and related systems.  Provides guidance to users to assist them in completing corrections and adjustments; and documents all customer issues utilizing a call tracking system.
 
Works independently or in teams to resolve complex issues, identifies systems issues and formulates recommendations for new or improved processes and procedures, and pursues resolution.
 
Assists in the testing and delivery of system modifications and enhancements.
 
Identifies major issues; recommends and assists in developing new and/or improved procedures. Assists in maintaining systems and department procedures and related documentation.
 
Assists with development of written communications to district users.
 
Conducts individual or group training.  Designs standard and customized training plans.
 
Develops ad hoc queries that access data over a variety of platforms.
 
May lead teams and projects to resolve more complex issues. Provides guidance, training and assistance to less experienced operations support staff.
 
 
What You Bring to the Team:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or a related field or equivalent experience and four (4) or more years of accounting or related business experience.  Experience in customer service, loan origination, software testing, or as trainer is desired.
 
Specialized knowledge of loan origination and accounting systems.  Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office.  Skill in oral and written communication.  Skill in complex problem solving including problem identification, fact-finding, research, analysis, solution development, implementation, and follow up.  Ability to perform moderately complex analytical work under limited supervision.  Ability to explain accounting treatments to others.  Ability to organize and handle multiple concurrent tasks at once, and to accomplish accurate, detailed tasks in short time frames.  Ability to learn new applications quickly.  Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned projects.  Ability to resolve complex customer inquiries and requests. Requires independent judgment in the application of generally accepted accounting principles as it relates to loan accounting activity.
