Essential Functions: As a trusted member of the commercial credit team, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the business relationship, financial performance and related bank risk that may result from the debtor/creditor relationship with affiliates and will assist the vice president/unit manager with strategic planning and special projects. In addition, the successful candidate will play an active role in the Association Direct Lending Unit’s financial analysis and internal reporting on correspondent banking relationships and direct notes to affiliated lending institutions. This will include underwriting loan requests and customer annual reviews. In addition, the incumbent will support other department personnel in the underwriting and monitoring of large complex loans, develop industry analysis and peer group comparisons, and perform portfolio analysis and work on special projects as assigned. The position involves interaction with all levels of the bank and with affiliated lending institutions and correspondent banks.
